Serious injuries reported in Thursday morning bicycle collision

The Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) are appealing for witnesses and dash cam video in collision involving a cyclist that took place yesterday, Thursday May 23, in Oakville.

On May 23, 2024 at 6:15 a.m., the Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to a collision at the intersection of Third Line and Kings College Road in Oakville involving a motor vehicle and a cyclist. As a result of the collision the cyclist, a 57-year-old resident of Oakville, was transported to an out of region hospital with serious injuries.

The involved vehicle driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation however police are requesting anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or anyone with dash cam video to contact the investigating officer, Constable Renpenning, at [email protected].
